Black Wax Vampire TrilogY
The Scribbled Victims
The Scribbled Victims tells the story of Yelena Solodnikova, a vampire who developed a conscience, and therefore struggles with the guilt of her murderous eternal existence. She finds solace in the company of Orly Bialek, a twelve-year-old girl who is dying of cancer. Through her art, Orly can see the evil deeds committed by the people she scribbles. These scribbles provide Yelena with victims she will not feel guilty for killing. It seems like a perfect relationship, except that Orly’s cancer will soon take her life. Yelena must decide between letting Orly die and returning to her own eternity of guilt, or making her immortal by condemning her to the loveless life of a child vampire.
Scribbling the Eternal
In this sequel to The Scribbled Victims, the young and lovelorn vampire Orly Bialek is out to avenge the death of her mother by killing Mirela Cobălcescu. It would seem unachievable as the all-powerful and ever-suspicious Mirela is the source of Orly’s bloodline and over five thousand years her senior. But when the opportunity for revenge presents itself, Mirela surprisingly offers Orly the impossible. In the depths of her heart, Orly is forced to reconsider her vendetta in the promise of escaping the doom of her loveless eternity.
Scribbles of the Empress
In the final installment of the Black Wax Vampire Trilogy, Orly Bialek retreats from the world and her responsibilities as the new empress of her bloodline as she buries herself in sorrow over the deaths of her mother, lover, and friends. An uprising within the Cobălcescu that aims to usurp her rule and end her life forces Orly to put her mournful sentiments aside to protect her coven from those seeking to destroy it. What remains to be seen is whether young Orly can find the strength to overcome those who oppose her and truly reign as empress, yet still contend with the grief that threatens her survival.

Within the Kingdom of Tyria, a baby girl is born with violet eyes. By custom, this uncommon trait elevates the girl into royalty, and she soon becomes the Princess Bless. However, the royal title bestowed upon her also means abduction from her parents and a forced marriage while still a child. Though her struggles eventually lead to her blindness, the young Princess Bless leads a fight to the death against those of the royal house who held her captive. This gruesome fairy tale, written by Robert Tomoguchi, is beautifully illustrated by Ashley Vargas.
